Information updated:

17/06/2002

Btw: sorry for the "real" dates, but I think it is easier to read the actual date than having to calculate it. Just change the "2002" bit for, let's say... 3298?

Photographs:

Sharnsworld and Norman's Rock

Norman's Rock, the moon on the sky of this new world. In the image above, you can see both Norman's Rock and Sharnsworld from the Tiercel, when approaching the planet. Norman's Rock is a very interesting object, its low density and irregular shape give a hint to its internal structure: Suspected vast caverns beneath the surface! In the centre of the picture above, there is a "smear" - which is not a star, but the exploration fleet!

Norman's Rock, a little closer...

In the image above, there is Norman's Rock viewed from shorter distance. The Tiercel went on photographying it, while the Wyverns flew to Sharnsworld to make maps. The image below shows Norman's Rock from a close distance.

Norman's Rock - an interesting egg-shaped object

The last image, done by the Tiercel, showing the surface of Norman's Rock. The gravity is so weak, that it is equal to the gravity of Sharnsworld in this distance, artificial gravity generators will be needed for any colony on the surface!
