<Shazzer> A few years ago the Trader and Courier only needed one crew member, but the Empire was worried because it's officers became too rich too quickly on the Vequess to Facece slave run, so they redesigned the ships to require 3 and 6 crew members respectively so as to stop the Commanders getting too rich too quickly.

<Sharn-Lugonn> The Empire is quite worse than I expected
<Shazzer> The crew members are superfluous and have an easy life. The ships are built around just needed one member, so all the controls are situated in the fore cabin.
<Shazzer> You ncan still pick up old style Couriers and Traders though.
<Shazzer> In the UKFE2 system.
<Sharn-Lugonn> Those crew members I would jettison when in deep space... as rubbish or radioactives would be on their way...
